Green Hornet - The Original

The Green Hornet debuted as a radio drama in January 1936. He is a masked hero, who pretends to be a criminal in order to infiltrate the cities underworld. The Green Hornet's alter ego, Britt Reid, a respectable member of community, is publisher of the Daily Sentinel newspaper. He is also the great-nephew of John Reid, the Lone Ranger.

The Green Hornet's primary tools are his gas-gun and an incredibly fast, gadget laden, car named the Black Beauty. They were invented by his partner and sidekick, Kato.
