This dark comedy, set in a retro-futurist, dieselpunk world, tells the story of Tom, a midget in love with Francoise, a tall, beautiful girl with auburn hair. When Françoise humiliates Tom at the village fair, she finds herself in a sticky situation: Tom's best friend is none other than Fritz, a cannibal surgeon, who doesn't think twice about cutting Françoise down to size -- Tom's size...
Pascal Chind is a Canadian filmmaker living in Paris. He is currently developing several features and TV series, including "Extreme Pinnochio", another dark comedy short (an adaptation of Pinnochio) with a dieselpunk aesthetic. His cinematographic style is unique in France. Some critics have compared his work to Jean-Pierre Jeunet (City of lost Children, Amelie, Delicatessen) and Terry Gilliam (Brazil, Baron Munchassen).

Never before has a short film had so much exposure on French TV (broadcast over 350 times). After more than 40 official festival selections, 8 awards, including the famous Silver Melies for the best European fantasy (received at the Leeds International Film Festival), the film finally started its new life on the Internet during the Cannes Film Festival (2012 edition).
