The Original Green Hornet's Gas Gun

This gas gun was originally featured in the 1940 Universal serials, The Green Hornet, and The Green Hornet Strikes Again!

The gas gun was invented by Kato for the Green Hornet. He modified the body of a German Mauser into a high-pressure, close-range, non-lethal sidearm. It fires a pellet that explodes on impact releasing a cloud of gas. Once inhaled by the target, they instantly fall into a deep sleep. The sleep gas gun is the Green Hornet's primary weapon.
