Until the End by Escape the Clouds (Shanty Mix)

The steampunk community's Do-it-Yourself ethic has always resonated with me, given that I enjoy the challenge of taking things from "the ground up". As with my two previous videos, I filmed, edited, directed, and created everything in this piece, from the special effects shots to even taking the controls of the WWII Stearman biplane at the beginning. The song itself was recorded and mixed in my portable studio using a combination of ukuleles, plucked violin, bass guitar, and Native American percussion instruments. The goal here--as with much of my work--was to tell add a storytelling aspect to the music.
