Dieselpunk + Steampunk Culture
Taking place in 1960, Wolfenstein: The New Order depicts an alternate timeline -- one in which the Nazis won World War II and took over the world... and only B.J. Blazkowicz can stand up to them.
I enjoyed the previous Wolfenstein and so I will this one, I feel it in bones. It seems to be as grotesque and irrational as it can be, so in the end it sidetracks from the "serious shooter" road, and sets its course for "a pulp game" highway. Can't wait to lay my hands upon this :D
I like that they're not just making the same old Wolfenstein game again, but it now looks like they're making the same generic shooter as everyone else and slapping swastikas onto the enemies. Hope it isn't as lazy as it looks.
