World's First Beatboxing Champion in 1938
This video is taken from the British Pathe newsreel "The Radio Revellers" and is a song called 'There's A Tavern In The Town'.
And yes, for those of you who were wondering, this isn't actually "beatboxing" strictly. The singer is doing an impersonation of a "big string bass" - Still, it's pretty impressive and a prototype of beat boxing.
